@penilane Hello there! How are you doing today?
Finding a tea club sounds a good idea to get out of the house, do something different and have a brew. I have a family member who goes to one local to us and she really enjoys it, especially the bingo and beetle drive games. Does that sound up your street?
As I'm not familiar with your area, I wouldn't be able to offer any specific ideas unfortunately. However, my first port of call would be to contact some trustworthy organisations in your area to see if they can help.
The first one is Age UK for Nottingham and Nottinghamshire who you can call on 0115 844 0011, between 9am to 5pm Monday to Thursday and 9am to 4.30pm on Friday. If you prefer, you can email info@ageuknotts.org.uk.
One other place to enquire is with your local council. If you visit this Nottingham Community Centre's webpage it has a list of all your local centres and the different activities that happen there. Whilst, if you prefer to talk to someone 'in-person', visit these Nottingham Council contact centre details and ask to speak with someone in their social inclusion team about what they have on offer.
You'll be ready for a cuppa after reading all that Let me know if I can help in any other way and don't forget, if you fancy a natter (albeit on the internet!) that we are here.
