hi just wanted some help to understand our options .
we have managed our sons direct payments over ten years even as an adult.no problems submitting returns bank statements etc.
he has not been assesed for 4years and a social worker has contacted us to say she is coming tmw to do the new assessment which we know must happen .however she has already told us that he will be using a prepaid card or a broker not his parents and if he doesnt agree his funding will be stopped. Is this legal we believe my son has a choice to say who manages his budget?
she also says his needs are health led not social and she is also doing a chc assessment at the same time he has no physical needs .
Does anyone have experience of this threatening behaviour to withdraw funds if we dont agree.
She does seem to want to discuss anything else and is asking us to provide what hours he needs but as he lives at home this is difficult.
we need some advice for tmw please if anyone can help.
thanks

Hi I'm sorry to hear this.
Social services are refusing to help me despite police referral.
I have multiple difficulties.
Can you please explain what chc means
This country is going down .
I'm sick of being sick
