Is it OK to do this at a pip phone assessment

I'm sure there will be someone who can answer this on here with all your wealth of knowledge. During a phone assessment would the person with you be permitted to scribble prompting answers down on a piece of paper to remind you ? For example, I had to ask my mum a few things during my recent call, as I could not remember due to short term memory loss.Assessor could hear this as we had the phone speaker on and didn't seem to mind, but would it be different if she'd written quick answers for me to glance at. Obviously I know how my conditions affect me etc but I get stumped on some things as I say due to my memory loss and fatigue. Or would this be considered cheating in some way.?Would like to know for future reference.

Hi @Deppi I understand  about taking someone with you to a f2f as I have done so before. My real concern is more about a phone assessment,
If I read some answers out to the HP I'd previously written down before the phone assessment started to remind me of My medications when they asked me about them for example what they are for  etc at a phone assessment is that allowed? The physical act of using written 'answers '.Thanks

Yes you or someone else can write notes for you to refer to during any assessment, regardless of whether it's phone, video call or face to face.

@poppy123456 Ah brilliant, I did wonder about it  being allowed and did not want to do anything that might be wrong or get me into trouble on my next assessment whenever that might be. That's good to read. Ta very much.
