Universal credit/working

Hiya everyone I am on universal credit I receive about 600 a month as deemed not fit to work or work related activities I still live with parents and don’t get help with housing costs  after 2 years of being on it I’ve finally started to look for work I’ve been offered a 15 hour job at 10 pound an hour each month I should earn 595 pound a month from the job I was wondering if anyone could tell me how much I would still receive from universal credit if possible as I’m not very good at working it out and want to know if it’s gonna financially hinder me I appreciate the help

    As i advised in that thread you will have the work allowance so £573 of earnings you receive during your assessment period will be ignored. In the other thread you said your earnings would be £570 so all those earnings will be ignored.
    For earnings of £595 then there will be a deduction in your UC of £12.10/month.
    Remember that UC is based on earnings received during your assessment period. So the more you earn the less UC you will receive.

    @poppy123456 sorry about that so I will still basically receive most of my universal credit then is that what you mean ?

    Based on the above figures yes, you will. However, it will depend on how often you're paid from your employer so if you're paid either weekly, fortnightly or 4 weekly then you will receive more earnings in some months so your UC will be less.
