LCWRA and part-time work

Hello,
I was wondering if anyone could help with some advice
I currently receive LCWRA and housing benefit. I was awarded LCWRA for a chronic pain condition and mental health.
I have been offered two days a week work, which I am keen to do as I have always worked and I feel it helps with my mental health. It is a desk based job that would be manageable with my condition.
I was wondering how this may effect my benefits? If I was to accept this work?
Any advice in this area would be great

To be clear, unless you're either living in supported or temporary housing then you won't be claiming Housing Benefit. Your rent will be included in your UC known as the housing element. They are 2 completely different benefits. There's no rules against working when found to have LCWRA. You will have the work allowance of £344/month, which means you can earn this much before the 55% deductions apply. Any earnings over this amount will reduce your UC by 55p for every £1 you earn.If you start working you must report a change of circumstances and tell them your working. Do be aware that if the work you do contradicts the reasons why you were found to have LCWRA then it can go against you when you're next reassessed.0

Thank you for your reply. Its very helpful.
I get the Housing Element of U.C and LCWRA and the living element.
Would I tell them I am working on the date I start working or before then? I think I am going to give it a go even though it could trigger a reassement. The isolation I experience from not working really impacts my mental health.
Thank you
