Hey all, so I had my face to face assessment last Tuesday. Thy said up to 8 weeks for a decision but have eard it can be a lot quicker.. I first applied on 12th July (sent forms off).. anyone get their decision quicker thnn8 weeks? Any help appreciated. Feeling a bit stressed if it's going to be 8 weeks of waiting.

You haven't said what benefit this is related too so i'll guess it's PIP. If so then a decision can be anything between 2-12 weeks.

Can I just check, is this for your PIP claim, or something else? Due to a big backlog after covid, I'm afraid waiting times for PIP fall anywhere between 2-12 weeks, and can sometimes be longer.
How do you feel the assessment went last week?
And in terms of managing feelings of stress, do you have anything you enjoy doing that helps you feel relaxed and calm?0
