Well, I have given this a lot of thought! I think a Xmas card, sent once and that lasts forever (so you no longer have to send your family and friends a Yuletide card), and ensures you get lots of cards every Xmas, so many in fact that you wouldn't have the time to read an Advent Calendar, is a far better bet. Call me cheap and miserable if you like...
Anyway, I have uploaded my Xmas card to you all. If you print it out on double sided glossy paper you will never have to send another Xmas card, but you will get lots in return. It is based on a Laurel & Hardy Skit where they were flogging greeting card. Moderator, please note the copyright notice is just a bit a bit of tosh!
Happy Xmas Everyone! -
That's very good @Steve_in_The_City ha ha x

Yeah saves on keep sending @Steve_in_The_City

I bought my advent calendar weeks ago, it's in a drawer, waiting! It's a Science Museum one. Sadly just from M&S lol. I don't know about anyone else but I'm feeling a bit more festive this year.

I wait until early December to buy my advent calendar, as I can get a bargain from Lindt at that time. I usually get the Lindt teddy one.Poppy_Community Volunteer Host with a passion for reading.

I have two this year, a Galaxy chocolate one and I brought one by Advent of Change which donates to 24 different charities. This morning was a donation to Railway Children.
I also picked one up for my pupper, she's very happy to get treats before breakfast in the morningHannah - She / Her

@Hannah_Scope I have never heard of Advent of Change but that's a brilliant concept! Will definitely look into that for next year

I love the sound of the Advent of Change!!! What a lovely idea. I have a '24 days of positivity' one and each day poses a reflective question.
So like day one was the theme of Gratitude and asked 'What's something you're exited about doing this festive season?' -
