Hey I’m Rosie. I went to the GP for autism, but I think they're assessing me for ADHD

Well, I’ve finally got to the point where I might have my assessment and I go to the patient portal to fill in some forms on a website called physiciatry I’m ( let me know if you’ve been through these) and it came up with ADHD forms?! I went to the doctor for autism not ADHD could they have changed my diagnosis? Even after I went to the gp for a specific reason?

Welcome to the community @rosiemay
That sounds really frustrating! It may be that they think you could benefit from being assessed for both. It's odd that they wouldn't have spoken to you about this first, though.
Would you be able to book an appointment with your GP to discuss this?
