Hello everyone, .Not been on here past number of weeks as I damaged my eye after a fall at home.Hey ho! Not so bad now.
Anyway, My dear friend got her pip assessors report yesterday, I've still heard nothing of my review,The assessor seemed pretty fair and did highlight a number of her problems where she needs the most help, some discrepancies, but minor ones.
But at the back of the report was only awarded 2points. Now she knows this is not the official letter but it does not bode well. Will she have to wait for the letter before any MR can be written or should she start to put one together using the report as a reference.? I honestly can't rem what way I did it last time as my brain fog is terrible.
Don't want to mislead her on it.
Any words of advice I can pass on would be very helpful. X

Oh I should have also indicated she had her assessment recorded was sent the link but not the password so it expired. And is requesting  a CD copy.Should it be included with any MR?I have never had an assessment recorded myself either until this time so once more I don't know what's best to tell her.

The report is a recommendation only and not the decision letter. She will need to wait for the decision to be made before she can request the MR.
If she does need to go down the MR route then she should put the report to one side because this isn't going to get her a PIP award. When she writes the MR letter she should state where and why she thinks she should have scored those points. Then include a couple of real world incidents of exactly what happened the last time she attempted each activity that applies to her. Adding detailed information such as where she was, what exactly happened, did anyone see it and what the consequences were.
