Hi I am Jo, aged 54, have an array of invisible conditions that won’t ever go away. Pain management was a great course, it’s really helped with the hypermobility/EDS. Mental health management for grief, PTSD and post concussion syndrome, not so great.
hoping to qualify for PIP this time around.

Hello and welcome @mojojungle thanks for joining and sharing a bit about yourself and the conditions you're living with. Do you feel like you're getting enough support managing day to day?
You've mentioned you're hoping to qualify for PIP this time around, if you'd like help with anything then our PIP category is the place to go. Have you applied?
Another category you might like to explore is Chronic Pain and Pain Management, where you can share your experiences with members going through similar things.
If you need a hand with anything, please don't hesitate to ask, and I hope you enjoy spending time here on the community

Welcome to the community @mojojungle Thank you for joining us!
Thank you also for telling us a bit about yourself, and your situation. We have many members here who live with chronic pain, as well as a range of mental health conditions, so you're in good company.
I'm glad that you found the course so helpful! What would you say was the best thing you learnt from it?
Do you mind me asking what kind of support you're currently receiving to help you manage your grief, PTSD, and post-concussion syndrome?
If you have any questions about the PIP process, you're very welcome to ask1 -
Thank you both so much. I have quite a bit of support and am very glad for the suggestions and advice0

You are welcome @mojojungle. It is the very least you deserve.
It sounds really positive that you have quite a bit of support and are very glad for the suggestions and advice.
Please don't hesitate to let us know if we can do anything else to support you though. We are all here for you and listening to you0 -
Thanks all. I had my telephone assessment on Friday. It went on for two hours and the lady was very lovely and obviously experienced with dealing with people with anxiety and PTSD issues. At one point she gave me a moment to calm myself down as she pointed out that she had to be able to understand how things affected me in my words.
Now I have the agonising wait to see if I can qualify this time.
one positive (I hope) is that chronic pain syndrome is now officially a ‘thing’ rather than having to try and explain that due to EDS it can hurt anywhere at any time0 -
I'm glad to hear that chronic pain is now a recognised condition @mojojungle, so it should be! I hope the wait to hear more is not too agonising for you.
Feel free to use the forum here to take your mind off things, easier said than done I know
Well done for getting through the assessment, and enjoy the rest of your Sunday!
