Hi and sorry your PIP has been refused
Yes you can do phone mr but I wouldn't recommend it as you are relying on a call centre operator logging all you have to say
Far better to do it in writing give you time to think about it and get everything across you can also keep a copy for ref0 -
Thank you for advice, can I do both, cover every angle do u think,?0
-
Yes you can
You can lodge a mr over phone give brief details and tell them you will follow up in writing
However once you have made the call it will start the mr process and no guarantee they will wait for further evidence before making the decision so your letter may not then be considered0 -
Arrrr I see,,, thank you for advice,, 😉0
-
Sorry another question,, do the Mr results then take months, or is it the how long is a piece of string question again 😕0
-
Timescales for MR decisions are 2-12 weeks. The most likely outcome of the MR is the decision will remain the same. If this happens you can proceed to Tribunal. Not a quick process by any means.

@.... O and because I drive an automatic car I must be OK as upper body stregth is required,,, it's nothing to do with my arms,, and I don't find driving difficult as I am not bearing any weight on my knees. Also he has said that I have been diagnosed with right knee pain,, I have hypermobility and grade 4 osteoarthritis,, it's a bit different to a sore knee. He completely skipped over the mental side with my anxiety and flashbacks, yet again if I can work I must be OK. ,,,, I don't easily get ruffled,, but today I am 🙁😠🤬,,,, definately didn't take anything on board and he has just rushed it,,, can I ring him up?0

Sorry I do realise there are thousands worse off than me, but I am getting worse and it's downright insulting to be fobbed off with quite obviously someone who doesn't give a flying hoot,,0

You need to request the Mandatory Reconsideration as your next step, which you should put in writing as advised.Yes, i know it's very frustrating but please put the report and the decision letter to one side and concentrate on the MR letter. The driving excuse is quite a common classic copy and paste.0

Yes, thanks poppy,, you are right,, I was thinking of ringing up the case manager who's name was at bottom of decision letter., prob at bad idea,, I have calmed down a bit now,, I will continue completing my MR,, now I have even more to go off,, I have put real life examples as you advised, its just shocked me I think,,, the best line was I have my daughter at work with me and interact with her 😂😂😂,, she is 13,, she is in school and of corse I interact with her,, just a joke,,, thanks again poppy. 😊😁👍👍X0

@poppy123456 I would like to show you what I have written, see if u can advice me anymore, it's on computer at work, but don't want everyone seeing,,?? Some of its quite private,, I'm not sure if this is allowed?0
-
I'm afraid i do not advise anyone in private message so won't be able to help you regarding that. If you don't want to post what you've written then i'd advise getting some expert advice from an agency near you.
