Hi, I'm concerned that Disabled People's benefits will be cut by the Government, some off us are just getting by just now, what will it be like if our benefits are cut.0

You really shouldn’t believe everything you read. There’s many other threads here regarding this and this is one of them, see link https://forum.scope.org.uk/discussion/97741/means-testing-disability-benefits#latest1

I do believe the Government will target the Disabled and Benefits people to claim back the money they are having to pay out,it is always the poor people they target, why not claim it off the richest of people. It really sickens & worries me.0

I can hear how this would be concerning for you @rosco1. It sounds like this really sickens and worries you.
Would anything, in particular, make this feel more manageable for you at the moment? We are all here for you and listening to you0 -
Hello and welcome @rosco1 and thanks for sharing how you're feeling about things in the news recently.
The stories in the news are anxiety inducing to say the least, and a worry for many disabled people. It might be helpful to stay away from reading the news for a while, to help take your mind off things. You're welcome to chat about things here, or use the forum to get to know other members, if you'd like
The key thing to remember is, no changes to PIP or Attendance Allowance have been confirmed by the government as things stand.
If there's anything you need a hand with, please do ask.
