Thanks Teddy, appreciated. I am very interested in a thread I read here on the Forum that directly relates to an issue I am trying to resolve for one of my clients on ESA. Am I allowed to contact the Forum User who originally raised the thread? I'm interested to know what the outcome of their request was to DWP to backdate their benefit.0

Okay, thanks.
So a member called Robdx was trying to get a EDP on his ESA paid and backdated to 2016. He was successful in getting the payment awarded but he was still awaiting a decision on the backdate. The thread stopped and I am hoping Robdx might be able to send an update?
I have a client in exact same situation and it would be good to hear of Robdx's outcome as it would be interesting for comparison.
Also I'm trying to clarify, should my client now request a backdated supersession via ESA3? Or can I just write a letter to ESA on her behalf?0 -
Hi @Soapkate - & welcome to the forum. If you want to catch another member's attention, then put the @ sign in front of their user name. May I suggest however that a member's personal outcome may not always be reflective as to what generally speaking happens. I'd rather, or additionally suggest, that you post a query by using the 'New post' link, as we have some knowledgeable members who may be able to help.If you haven't already done so, you may also benefit from joining Rightsnet: https://www.rightsnet.org.uk/
