After a change of circumstances I have moved from DLA to PIP.
Now entitled to SDP with my ESA. I spoke to a lady at ESA last week and went through the form over the phone.
She said as my PIP entitlement date starts today, I needed to call back today to make sure the claim had started, and she left notes on my file.
Just called and spoke to a man, who really didn’t seem very clued up.
Anyway he says he can’t action the claim to start it has to be my local job centre (I don’t send sick notes and not been to a job centre for over 10 years).
He says the job centre will call me back within 3 days.
Is this correct, seems odd to me?

What rate of DLA were you receiving? If you already got mid or high level Care component of DLA you were already entitled to SDP.
ESA should be able to deal with the SDP.0 -
