@mrpaul Hello there! How are you today?

Some disability charities and trusts do offer grants and funding for equipment. If you search different charities specifically supporting your condition you can find out how they may help.

Importantly, Scope's How to get a wheelchair webpage advises:

    Warning Check your benefits

Do not apply for a grant from a charity or trust unless you've checked if it will affect your means-tested (income-based) benefits.

Talk about your options with your occupational therapist, care manager or local disability information and advice organisation.

    Search for grants (Turn2us)
Please let us know how you get on and good luck.

    Hi there

If you are s nhs patient your gp should refer you to wheelchair services who supply wheelchair at no cost

You will be assessed by them for needs and what chair would suit you best

If you want to purchase your own they are often advertised on Facebook or gumtree . Also British Red Cross maybe able to help
