I'm trying to renew my Blue badge. I can't remember how many points I got for the mobility part

Hi. I'm trying to renew my Blue badge one question is when I got awarded pip how many points did I get for mobility part. Its been ages since I got pip, I don't know what to do please help

    You need to have a look at your PIP award letter and it will tell you on there exactly where you scored those points. If you don't have a copy then you need to ring PIP to ask them to send you this.
    If the points mean you automatically qualify then you will need a PIP award letter that's dated within the last 12 months.

    Welcome to the community @Rachelbeat68 :) As poppy123456 has said, you can call PIP to ask for a copy of your award if needed. So all hope isn't lost- don't worry!

    Some county councils are able to check with dwp directly, so yours might not need you to send proof as they will find out themselves. Hope you are able to get it sorted.

    I’ve never known them do this for blue badge purposes.

    It definitely says on my county council Web page they will check you qualify under pip by looking at dwp records themselves and you don't need to send proof. Not for everything but if you get pip mobility they will look it up. Perhaps not every council does it?

    That's good they do that, it would be great if all Local Authorities did the same. I've never lived anywhere that does this.
