Waiting for a decision

Hi. I'm just wondering if I can have anyone's thoughts please. I had my pip interview about three weeks ago. The following day I received a text saying that my form was with the decision maker.
Today I've received another text saying that a decision has not yet been made. Just that. Nothing else. Other than to say I don't need to do anything further.
I'm just wondering if this is normal practice? I'm worrying in case they are struggling to make a decision and this is why they have texted me a second time to say it's still with the decision maker.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you x

All of that is normal procedure. A decision can take anything up to about 12 weeks once the report was returned.

I'm glad the community could help @Mumpsy do you have anything nice planned this weekend while you wait?
And how did you find the assessment?1 -
Hello and thank you. I'll be reading my Richard Osman The Thursday Murder Club book. A gift from my daughter. I'm also waiting for the man to come to fix my boiler.
I found the assessment quite alright. The lady was lovely and she seemed to understand me when I explained. But it was on the telephone and I wasn't expecting that. I'm so pleased I found this community but I am worried about the decision overall. Thank you2 -
Thank you yes that's a good idea I will 😊1

I hope your boiler gets sorted soon if it hasn't been already @Mumpsy and enjoy your book!
I'm glad you've been finding the community helpful, that's lovely to hear. I look forward to seeing you around in the coffee lounge0 -
had a second text saying, We have not yet made a decision on your PIP claim. We will write to you when we have made a decision. You only need to contact us if your circumstances change.Does this mean I wont get pip0

It's no indication that you haven't been awarded. Some have a decision quite quickly after that and some wait longer.

Hi! I've been following these post a while and are very helpful. I applied for pip at the end of September 2022. Assessment 19th January, had a call back a week later to clarify a couple of things. Text on 1st Feb 2023 to say they've received my Assessment report and to wait 8 weeks. This morning February 20th I received 2 of the same texts so I rang the helpline to see when I actually wait from. They said to ring back in the middle of the week and they might be able to tell me more but the wait would be from the first texts on February 1st. Is this all good signs? Thankyou
