Where do I stand. Homelessness, eviction, and C O L benefits

Right government are giving people on various benefits C O L but how does that affect people whom have been made homeless or evicted from a property

    It helps many many of those people who have been evicted or made/ are homeless?!

    if they were on low income, disability etc then they would get the col payment. 

    That aside a £324 payment isn’t going to stop an eviction there must have been a more complex issue there. If they become unemployed they would have got the payment. 

    Of course some people are always gonna fall between the cracks or need the help but missed the cut off dates. I’m not sure if you want help or are just venting that some people got COL payments 

    If you can share a little more about the circumstances maybe people can signpost some help.

    Hello @Sandwith01, the charity Shelter published a Cost of Living campaign earlier this autumn which you might like to have a look at, it details the impact of the crisis.

    Shelter are imploring the government to do more to support those who are homeless or at risk of eviction, and encourage everyone to email their local MP to push for change from the government.
