No Second COL Payment - ESA

Hi all,

I'm still on legacy income-based ESA but haven't received the second COL payment.

Had another look on the .Gov site this weekend and it states that 'most people' in that category should have received it by Nov 23rd.

Just wondered if anyone else on legacy ESA was still wating for it?

I did receive the first one and nothing has changed since.

Thanks

You can report a missing payment here, if you haven't already. https://www.gov.uk/guidance/cost-of-living-payment#report-a-missing-cost-of-living-payment

Well, this is a bit awkward.  Thought it seemed odd no-one else on here had missed the payment.  So checked through banking app again and couldn't see it.  Then searched transactions for 'DWP' and there it was...paid on November 8th.  :|

I have no idea how I couldn't see it before.  Or how I didn't notice an extra £300 in the overall amount.  Now I'm concerned about what else I might have missed!  :#

Aw glad you have received your payment ! Missing things on statements is  easily done! Also I wish I had stayed on legacy benefit EsA when I was on it! I briefly returned to work and came off esa  (currently still unemployed) but was not accepted back into ESA (no acceptable reasons given by them ) and now am struggling severely on Universal credit alone . It is good that you are on ESA as it seems a steady income rather than a fluctuating one like others!

Because a new claim would have been required and new claims for income based ESA are no longer permitted.
