Poem time again.
On the theme of poem writing and all who think they can’t write to save their lives, I will show that every member has a poet waiting to get out.
I have used your ideas and come up with this.
I will start with
A for Anklet bracelet, the one that Amanda wants.
B for Brandy, on a cold winter’s night.
C for Christmas cake, like my mum used to make.
D for Drambuie, with such a smooth, rich taste
E for Earrings, an accessory it just makes sense.
F for Fondue Pot Set, with marshmallows on a stick and jam.
G is for gin, yep that i’ll do the trick
H for Haribo sweets, wonder, what flavor comes out next,
iPhone for my daughter, because she’s the best.
J for jigsaw, spread out on the floor.
K for knickers, I’ve put them by the door.
L is for Lego, what will you build next?
M for marzipan, it just tastes the best.
N for nutcracker, Cos’ they hide the one I have,
O for Orange in your stocking, which was given by my dad.
P for play dough, it gets, stuck into my carpet,
Q for Quilted Christmas blanket, wrapped up warm and snug
R for rum, so I don’t have to go down the pub.
S for sweets we share, when the Haribo have gone,
T for Toblerone. They sell it 2 FOOT LONG,
U for unicorn toy, the reindeer have all gone
V for vintage toys, the one you know for big, big, boys.
W is for writing as I am stopping here, since I don’t want to spoil W, X, Y, AND Z.
So when you fill these FOUR letters just add it to the list and we all have the SCOPE to be what every we want.

Fantastic poem @onebigvoice And it's a lovely idea to use posts from members from the other thread!
Perhaps Y could be a yellow scarf, or a yo yo?

Yes carrying on and adding to the last 4:
x is for xylophone, for kids to bang and play
y is for yacht, sailing round the Christmas Islands.
z is for zzzzzzzz, because it's time for bed.
thanks to all of scope posters in the a to z and noticed you have started again........
have a go.....

I have just noticed that K is for Knickers, NOT KICKERS?
I really need to put my glasses on when reading some of this as why would you want to put Knickers by the front door?
Don't answer that, or remember the scope rules........0 -
Well its poem time again.
Christmas songs and your Christmas please.
I love reading yours so to get things started....There’s 22 days to Christmas, I don’t know what to do
I haven’t bought a present yet, Like last year with all those queues
There’s still time I said in September, that’s now a while ago
And just heard the Jingle Bell’s song on my radio.
There’s 22 days to Christmas, I don’t know what to do
It’s brought it home, it’s not that long to go
My mate lives in Australia, I left in 69’
He coming up to Christmas in all that sunny sunshine.
There’s 22 days to Christmas, I don’t know what to do
I suppose I have to start somewhere, and need a list of where to start.
down to Tesco’s for some wine, and a bottle of Bayley’s to,
and a wee drop of whiskey, and some Drambuie to.
There’s 22 days to Christmas, I don’t know what to do
So that the wine and some Booze, my head is hurting now
So I think it’s time to take, the 40 winks I need.
but before I go, I'll take a little snooze.
There’s 22 days to Christmas, I don’t know what to do
It can’t be all that bad, I need a Chicken or Turkey, for my Christmas do.
I know it doesn’t sound festive, to have a Kebab instead,
But in having a Kebab, for Christmas, will send me straight to bed.
There’s 22 days to Christmas, I don’t know what to do
In writing this poem, off the cuff, now it's only a few days to go.
But fear not one and all, I got it all in hand.
I bought everything last Christmas and am spending this one on the sand.
There’s 22 days to Christmas, I do know what to do
Its pack my bungie Smugglers, and that big massive beach towel to
I’m off to Surfers Paradise, and all that golden sand
I know the water’s crystal clear, and the sand is hot.
Cos’ the only “snowball” I want to see is in a glass, held in my right hand.
CHEERS everyone, from here in Oz, if you are still at home
Just remember you can still contact me, on my mobile phone.
