PIP isn’t awarded based on a diagnosis, it’s awarded based on a ‘points’ system. You need 8 points to be awarded the standard rate and 12 points to be awarded the enhanced rate and this applies for both Daily Living & Mobility.See the PIP descriptors here:
https://www.citizensadvice.org.uk/Global/Migrated_Documents/adviceguide/pip-9-table-of-activities-descriptors-and-points.pdfJust to make you aware, understanding what these points mean can be quite difficult to understand. If you are struggling then I advise you to get expert help:
https://advicelocal.uk/Or alternatively come back here and a member will do their best to help you understand.0 -
Thank you, as I have a immune system problem this apprantly lichen planus is part of it and the main reason why I have it. I do get pip for my R H but a very low-rate as I have been told today I have this 4 life I am wondering if I could get a increase, as when I get these attacks I have to rely on neighbours to shop 4 me obviously I pay there petrol is it worth asking pip if I could get more money to help0

The only thing I can advise you to do is use the link posted (https://advicelocal.uk/) before you make the decision of wether or not to do a change of circumstances. You are potentially putting your current award on the line by doing this hence why expert advice is needed. A diagnosis alone is not classed as a change of circumstances (taking away terminal illness claims).1

Hi there
If you look at the descriptors bring able to shop is not considered in any activity so unlikely you would get more points just for that
You could shop online and have it delivered but if your neighbour is willing they could do your shop with their own saving additional fuel cost1
