Hi All,
Not used this site before. I have a phone call tomorrow for my pip. I have never had one before and I am so anxious. My health has deteriorated massively, and I've been diagnosed with epilepsy amongst other conditions. Has anyone had a pip call recently, if so what questions where you asked and how long did it take for you to receive your award letter?
Much kindness

Once the assessment is down it is usually sent to DWP immediately. The wait for a decision can be up to 12 weeks. Sometimes the report is delayed iritis sent for audit.
There are no standard questions. Just remember that if you have problems with whatever you are asked, if they say ‘Can you do’ try and avoid saying ‘yes, but.’, best to say ‘It’s difficult to do because..’1 -
Hi, I had my assessment on Tuesday. Questions were basically what was asked on the application form, but with more detail. My phone call lasted just under an hour and I was told that I would receive a letter around 4 - 6 weeks time. However, I've read online upto 8 weeks, so I think it's really down to your personal case.
I completely understand your feelings of anxiety. I was really worried as I'm not good with the unknown.
If it helps, the lady I spoke to was really nice and she made me feel at ease0 -

Decision timescales are up to 12 weeks once the assessment report is returned to DWP. It could be the new year when you have your decision.

Hi @ep2001. Welcome to Scope's forum. It is great to see you have joined us.
Thanks for reaching out to us. I appreciate how much courage it can take to reach out, especially when things are difficult for you at the moment.
How did your phone call go for PIP? We are here for you and listening to you if you would like to share more with us.
Take care for now and we will look forward to, hopefully, hearing from you again soon0 -

initially I was very anxious about my pip call, the person seemed somewhat understanding however I don’t think they really captured my disability, and They kept calling me back afterwards as they forgot some questions. That was a bit out of my routine (I’m autistic) and I found it a bit overwhelming.I’m hoping to get my pip report copy I still have to request this. So I know what points I might be awarded. Just a wait now for the decision, which is causing a lot of anxiety. However I am trying to remain positive0
