Hi All I'm 66 years young (since 2 days ago). I had a stroke 5 weeks ago and am now trying to get back to where I was prior to the stroke. Tiredness and lack of motivation is a big issue now !!

A warm welcome to the community from me too @cazzybaz It's great to have you on board.
Happy belated birthday! Did you get up to anything nice?
We've heard from other members that recovering from a stroke can be tough. How are you getting on with your recovery?
Are you getting much support to help you get back to where you were?
I'd encourage you to see whether there are any groups in your area. I used to do some work with people who'd had strokes. We ran accessible activity sessions for them, and many of them found it beneficial both physically and mentally, so I'd urge you to explore whether there's anything going on local to you.
The Stroke Association may also be able to help0
