Hello,

Does anyone know of anywhere offering free or low cost assessments for Dyslexia/ Dyscalculia?

Thank you for your help.

You can speak to your GP for a referral but be prepared for a very long wait. You can of course be assessed quicker if you pay but i have no idea of the cost, you will need to do some research regarding that.
I would appreciate it if members wouldn't tag me please. I have all notifcations turned off and wouldn't want a member thinking i'm being rude by not replying.
If i see a question that i know the answer to i will try my best to help.

Hello @CPerry. Welcome to Scope's forum. It is great to see you have joined us. How are you at the moment?

Thanks for finding the courage to reach out to us. I appreciate the courage it can take to reach out, especially when you are new.

@Wibbles provoked a great question! Please can we ask who you are seeking the assessment for? The answer as to who can provide this assessment varies depending on who is being assessed.

Take care for now and we will look forward to, hopefully, hearing from you again soon and supporting you with this.

In the meantime, some resources you might find helpful include:

I hope this is at least semi-helpful. We are all here for you and listening to you if there's anything else we can do to support you.

I recognise this is quite a lot to process but you don't have to face it alone if you don't want to  <3
