You can speak to your GP for a referral but be prepared for a very long wait. You can of course be assessed quicker if you pay but i have no idea of the cost, you will need to do some research regarding that.
I would appreciate it if members wouldn't tag me please. I have all notifcations turned off and wouldn't want a member thinking i'm being rude by not replying.If i see a question that i know the answer to i will try my best to help. -
If this is for a child - the LEA are responsible for getting an assessment done and costs

@Wibbles provoked a great question! Please can we ask who you are seeking the assessment for? The answer as to who can provide this assessment varies depending on who is being assessed.
