What's the best TV show you've watched this year?

It could have come out this year, or it could be an older show that you only got around to watching this year :)

There are SO MANY. I think with streaming too, we do end up having a lot to catch up on.

Off the top of my head I really enjoyed Wednesday, The Lord of the Rings; The Rings of Power, Obi-Wan Kenobi, This Is Going To Hurt, Ridley, Bridgerton and Devil in Ohio.

Ooh, thanks for the recommendations everyone!
    The Traitors
I've heard this was better than many people expected @Geoark. Is that what you found? What's the premise?

I have really enjoyed the last season of call the midwife and the new season of the Handmaids tale. I have also enjoyed the uk version of Ghosts, mainly cos the cast and writers are the same as horrible histories.

Will definitely not to be everybody's liking but I have just really enjoyed The English. Quite theatrical but absolutely gorgeous to look at because it is beautifully filmed.

22 people go to remote Scottish castle, and do a series of tasks to increase the fund people will win at the end.

3 were picked to be traitors, if at the end any traitors are left they get all the money. At the end of each day there is usually a round table meeting and everyone chooses someone to banish who they think is a traitor. Then during the night the traitors get to 'murder' one of the faithful. As only one traitor has been found it means the faithful lose two people each time.

To be fair it is not the sort of program that would appeal to me, the first episode followed something that I was watching and I couldn't be bothered to find something else, but enjoyed it so usually put it on when I have nothing else to do.

I can't actually remember much TV from this year, despite watching 3 hours of prime time every night! :|

Miriam & Alan's Roadtrip was a good watch.  Also enjoyed Somewhere Boy.  And the Loius Theroux interviews with Dame Judi Dench and others.

The Christmas episode of Live At The Apollo was on at the weekend.  Was a very inclusive stand up show and worth a watch on iPlayer if you missed it.

@OverlyAnxious If you liked Miriam & Alan's Roadtrip, she has a series called Miriam's Dickensian Christmas. I believe it aired last night on Channel 4, but will be on catch up and I'm sure, aired again.
