I will be 70 next year, and am slowly losing my mobility for various reasons; not least because 20 years ago I fell off a ladder and landed on a concrete path.

I'm not insulted at all. The name was my choice, and it is true. My name is Jon and I am fat - 19 stone to be precise. I can't hide this in life, so why hide on a forum?

I'm recovering from a brief panic. I get my turkey from an organic farm at the other end of the county. They were due to deliver tomorrow, but their courier firm said it was overloaded and couldn't do the deliveries, so they have had to dive around themselves on a day they found convenient (today). A short while back I had a text to say the turkey had just been delivered.

I didn't hear anything but went to the front door. Nothing there. Oh no, I thought, they have delivered my turkey to someone else. I texted them to say, nothing has been delivered to my address. They replied that they left it in a wooden box. I don't have a wooden box, and told them that. Then they phoned me, but while on the phone they realised they had sent the original delivery text to the wrong person, and I was next on the list. Panic over, turkey delivered here safely now.
