if what we’ve read in the press is true they intend to only award pip to the most disabled and sick yet they intend more assessments for those not as disabled or sick . Bit of a contradiction. Also this is going to ramp up the power play to the assessors . It’s all up to them how sick we actually are . I have GP letter going back years clearly stating my conditions are chronic and prognosis not good . Yet I still have to fight and have short awards . Because it all depends on luck of who you get for your assessment.

This looks very scary for me.

I receive lower rate mobility and living which appears to be being cut. From what I have heared those on standard rate as myself will loose their benefit where those on top rate will be safe.

With severe Kyphosis, Fybromylagia and severe spinal stenosis among many other problems restrict myself to mobility scooter for transport. This may be the end for me as this will leave me with a life that’s seems less and less worth living.

oh I think I saw that a while ago. I watched her last night on that channel and she didn’t seem overly concerned imo. It may be the way she is though but I’m sure I heard her say she feels better after listening to Nick . No idea who he is or if I heard correctly as I’m hard of hearing

I believe you are the least likely to be impacted because you have visible physical disabilities. Their main target is mental health claimants, ADHD, autism, etc.

Sorry I don't know how to create a new post but for anyone who is employed in healthcare (nurse/carer etc) and off sick or really struggling, please look at the (Edith) Cavelle Trust. I dont know if it helps for former healthcare workers but is worth checking. It is a very easy/straightforward process online. They helped me a couple of years ago with a grant of 500.00 (not repayable).

Also if you're in a Union, do look to see if they help. The Royal College of Nursing via their 'Lamplight' charity, helped me in a similar way.

Sorry if this is in the wrong place.

Same here , you'd think I was going to the Moon or somewhere with my nerves. This lot, Kendall et al. need a rocket under them, I wish they'd join Musk and Trump and go to Mars.

This is my concern as well, I'm still in the esa support group and high rate mobility DLA. 57 years old and wishing I was no longer around , I'm sick of dancing to this sick tune of the DWPs, basically begging for financial help.

'Opinions based on what' ? I understand what you're saying. However.

Probably from the leaked dribs and drabs and fears. Perfectly OK imo to vent/voice fears and what ifs. Better for some than sitting just in silence worrying internally.

I agree. Wait until the concrete facts come out and then respond. That said I understand how some people need to communicate their stress on here. Maybe only outlet at moment.. I live in one room during winter, can’t afford to heat bedrooms. I can cook when my arthritis allows and I’m **** angry as fcuk that I paid tax for decades that put that bunch of callous fascist entities in Govt. Hell.. apparently 96% of cabinet went to university, my tax money paid for that!!!😳

So it seems likely that these changes will take a while to implement and may not even go ahead but for those severely disabled, they probably won't have to have any other reassessments on the back of this, despite many changes not actually coming into effect

Just watching the real architect of this( class traitor) Pat McFadden walking into Parliament. No empathy, reptile like intent. Paisley poor boy, Irish Heritage before being born in Scotland. **** Cummings in a tartan scarf. He must be self- loathing or something. I hope he comes a cropper like Cummings did. This is all an experiment for them though.. they’ve all( especially Reeves)got their off ramps worked out in consultancies to Europe and America. Starmer taking a backseat.. just in case he’s dirtied by any backlash. What a bunch of wrong’uns!
