Hello everyone,

Are you interested in taking part in a research study about chronic lower back pain?

I’m looking for participants to take part in an online research study which will contribute to my Health Psychology MSc dissertation at Leeds Beckett University.

What is the study about?

This study is looking at what factors might relate to chronic lower back pain intensity. It will ask about topics such as social status, social support, the level of control you feel you have in your life, your stress levels and pain intensity.

Who can take part?

To take part you will need to:

  • Be aged 18 years or over
  • Living in the UK
  • Have experienced chronic lower back pain for 3 months or longer (either on and off or consistently)
  • Have chronic lower back pain which is not linked to another known injury or medical condition

What will I need to do?

The study will involve taking an anonymous online questionnaire which will take 10-15 minutes to complete. You can complete this in your own time on your phone, computer or tablet.

If you're interested in taking part, or would like to find out more you can click on the link below:

Qualtrics Survey | Qualtrics Experience Management

If you have any questions about the study, please feel free to ask!

The study has received ethical approval from Leeds Beckett University and permission to post has been obtained from Scope's Online Community Team.

Thanks very much for reading,

Jen.

    Hello,

Sorry, yes it doesn't appear to have saved as a link after posting. You can copy and paste the link into your browser to access the study if you are able to do that.

In the meantime, I'll ask if there's anything I can do about turning it into a link.

    Thank you,

Mine is from injury & subsequent spinal surgeries, so I'm a reject. Good luck with it & I hope your results prove very interesting.
