they must know it’ll go to court even if it needs to go to echr. I remember one MP recently said they’ll never go against the echr. Is this their plan to look tough on benefits for the right wing vote knowing they’ll lose in court and they’re absorbed of responsibility? Plus of course we’d get back pay

I think and I could be wrong that they usually need a claimant to instruct them in their behalf and then that law if used in future cases . Although it may just be tribal laws . Either way they’ll be ready over everything with activists and charities.

Richard sums the situation up perfectly

Timms who I once had great respect for has done a complete 180.

They have a tonne of other options open, but the most disgusting thing longcovid and the pandemic aftermath have been totally ignored "but we are not at levels before the pandemic"

Yes because a virus ravaged the Globe and we had a clown of a PM who was useless.

We have a situation in which consultants within the NHS on 500k a year +

are now in rental housing, money all gone reliant on PIP. Yes Liz they must be so happy they have lost everything and PIP is so Generous it beats making 500k a year.

What Richard explains here is coming right to the heart of why Labour have failed.

Her policies are A level student project, There's a story flying around Reeves and Starmer

if this year goes as bad as expected will be out, guess who they want as PM? Streeting.

167 seat Maj is impressive but when you look how many of those seats are under 1,000 majority to act like this they really are clueless.

This was on kendells Facebook page in the comments section

Conflict of Interest: Liz Kendall’s partner, James Ind, involvement in a post-war investment venture in Ukraine worth up to $1 trillion: In regard to: Liz Kendall’s £5 billion cuts to welfare is to fund a war chest to supply the Ukraine military with weapons and Kendall's statement that she has an ambition, in her role as the DWP secretary, to recruit unemployed 16 -24 years olds into the British Army which Keir Starmer intends to deploy to Ukraine as a so called “peace keeping force” on the behalf of Ukraine.

The Fund for the Development of Ukraine is a collaboration between JP Morgan, BlackRock, and McKinsey & Company. The Fund for the Development of Ukraine is set to attract investments that could total between $400 billion and $1 trillion. This fund isn’t just merely about rebuilding a war-torn nation; it’s a strategic play to ensure Western capital maintains control over Ukraine’s economic future.

Banco Santander S.A.'s holdings in JPMorgan Chase were worth $81,977,000 as of its most recent filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). (JPMorgan Chase is the result of the combination of several large U.S. banking companies that merged since 1996, combining Chase Manhattan Bank, J.P. Morgan & Co., and Bank One, as well as asset assumptions of Bear Stearns, Washington Mutual, and First Republic.& Co.)

Liz Kendall’s partner/husband, whom she lives with in their £4million Notting Hill house with, is James Ind. James Ind joined Santander Asset Management in 2023 as the Global Head of Multi-Asset solutions. In 2024, he was also appointed as the Chief Investment Officer of Santander Asset Management UK and oversees the Multi-Asset Solutions UK and the Strategic Investment Solutions teams.

    It really needs to happen,

they keep saying 1,000 claims a day, how many are getting it?

has it occurred to them OAP's might be putting in claims now to offset the loss of the WFP

Elderly people are a core group who are reluctant to claim things like this.

They made a choice instead of being fair and doing what they promised they did a complete U turn and ignored the wealthy.

    Apparently Starmer was "Grumpy" today..

For what it's worth, I was reading CAB's website about their views on the Green Paper and their advisers seem to be vehemently against it. A lot of organisations, including here, in support of disabled people should hopefully be able to get our MPs to listen. I'm trying to write a letter to my local MP about it.

Basically the Tories did the same,

that amount stays frozen so no new uplifts, in real terms its a cut because as the cost of living increases this money doesn't. The Tories loved freezing the Benefits it saved them billions and its part of the reason the rise in foodbanks happened, they know the situation people who rely on Benefits rarely can save or have savings so that money goes straight back into the economy. VAT is a tax is brings in around 360 million a year, even Children buying a console game pay TAX, this narrative people on Benefits "pay nothing" is just total BS.

If one more "presenter" says Mobility cars are "free" yes people get free fuel for the 3 years

Brexit has seen this country become a deeply bitter place.

I think if the UN take them to court and win if will look very bad for Starmer as human rights lawyer. He may not want to be PM for longer than one term and instead aim higher. Going against the UN and ECHR isn’t a good look especially from a lawyer who believes in them . He has no interest in lowering immigration and so regardless of his treatment to the sick disabled elderly he won’t win again IMO.

I receive enhanced on both aspects; but should have scored at least a 6-8 on the same Q you say you would score an 8- yet I received 0 lmao…😂

All this…despite my providing reams of unprecedented corroborating evidence from my special Nurse: Clinical Psychologist and the entire team, where I was diagnosed!

I dont mention this not to concern you, but i just checked my award papers today for the first time in 3 yrs and was re-shocked at reading that part again lol…but like so many here, i didnt kick up a fuss as i was awarded enhanced overall.

For my next renewal I will be raising these concerns, as i did mention in my original claim for them to contact all respective parties, as they can confirm my exact symptoms..

It seems that PIP totally ignored this part🤔

You should be fine, but dont take it for granted like i did; that they will see the obvious and agree👍

you must record any future assessments. Do not rely on them recording as they say at the last minute they can’t ( happened to me) . Mine also ignored the 4? Point questions and asked me about the 2, point questions. Again that’s happened to me.

    hi

New in here, gone through the green paper and obviously it’s atrocious.

One thing I’d say that hasn’t got much or no attention is paragraph 53 and 54 regarding the new Insurance Employment.

It is very badly written, and I believe it’s on purpose.

Anyone with ESA contribution based, if that proposal goes ahead, will lose their entitlement eventually. As well as any NI contributions for their future pension.

this is clearly discrimination done in a very devious subtle way.

So if you are on ESA contributions based I would reply to their green paper pointing that out.
