Social services assessments

Not sure if this is wrote place to put this but can anyone help I have a number of conditions that affect me includes severe mental health, fibromyalgia long covid and a dislocation shoulder injury, I have a ot assessment and a go letter stating that arm movement is restricted in right arm due to injury, many years ago and after physio no joy and now left arm as pain in lower neck and fibromyalgia, I struggle to wash upper body hair and dress upper body bra and tops etc, tried dressing aids no joy, atm family supports me with this aprt from the gp letter original injury letter amount of drugs I'm on and fibromyalgia diagnosis I have a occupational therapy report stating I have equipment for bathing toilet needs and mental health reports, self harm and everything related, on renewal that wasn't enough low award on both, carnt face mentally fighting it has been suggested to me to ask for a social services needs assessment as if I didn't have my family I'd have to have services, thoughts please

    Hi please join the green paper thread at the top of this page and you will get more support and advise regarding benefits and the government proposals.

    Your question seems to be more about benefit entitlement than Social services.

    I get pip and it alot lower than was it's proving my condition, was told a social services assessments will detail my needs

    Hi @charl1980 I empathise with why you're feeling so worried, but please know you're not alone. The release of the green paper is just the initial proposal, and we're now entering consultation which allows us an opportunity to respond.

    It might be worth taking a look at a discussion where a lot of our members are coming together to share their concerns/questions, and support one another. This is called - The Green Paper Discussion
