Pip update

Ok here's an update..... My wife has just spoken to DWP regarding her review for pip and mobility.... The Lady on the phone said that the assessment went very well and it has now been passed onto the case manager and she should have a decision in the next week or 2..... Sounds good so I'm keeping everything crossed for her

Oh yeah she got that a couple of weeks ago
-
Was just wondering if this sounded positive
-
It does sound positive. the report is usually a good indicator of how the DM will decide

The report was really good, but I think I mentioned that in a previous post..... We're just sick of the wait now, its been going on for 13 weeks since she applied
-
The wait can be the worst part. I have heard 12 weeks plus in some area from the date of assessment

Well she only got her normal pip payment this morning, so it looks like another month of waiting..... But she may hear something in that time

If you are not already sick of Vivaldi you can ring and ask if the decision has been made and if so what, Sometimes the operaters will have it on their screen and be able to tell you

We did that yesterday, no decision made yet... Its now with the case manager, whatever that means
-
The CM is the decision maker, unfortunately they deal with claims indate order so you should be rising up the pile. give it a few days and try again

I will do thanks..... It's an absolute joke all this waiting, they need to get their fingers out

I think they are in a downward spiral. Everytime thet turn down an application or give a reduced award they create more work for then selves with MRs and appeals and new claims. They haven't got the staff to cope with it, it isn't their fault the Gov put the system in place but that is another matter.
Please let us know your progress
