What Do You Think - I Need Your Input.

Hi.
I'm currently on ESA LCWRA and am not claiming PIP, as going through the WCA was too stressful for me and I have never bothered to claim PIP, even though my doctor advised me to claim it.
As you know it, following the new changes, the WCA is to be scrapped and everybody will be assessed via a new single assessment which will be based on the PIP assessment.
Would applying for PIP now put me on the safe side to keep what I'm receiving now in sickness benefit (LCWRA) later on when the new 4 point based criteria kicks in? Would you advice me to apply for PIP now?
What about if I apply for PIP now and I get less than 4 points, do you think it would still help me for my sickness benefit later on?
As you know it, the WCA is to be scrapped in 2028, and the new 4 point based criteria in PIP will come into effect in Nov. 2026. If someone who's currently on LCWRA, which is my case, is called for a reassessment, say sometime in 2027, will they be reassessed on the new PIP or the WCA which will be still in place?
Thank you in anticipation.

All the plans are essentially the Government's wish list at the moment.
What eventually (after years) becomes law is usually a watered down version of the Green Paper.
That said, I got spooked last year by the previous Government proposals, applied for PIP, was awarded Enhanced (both) for 6 years, on a paper based assessment.
I can't begin to explain how life changing the money has been.
