I don't want to laugh, but I will.
I said as much to my partner yesterday after Rachel From Accounts' (RFA) hour in the limelight, of which, btw, she appeared to enjoy every nanosecond.
I told him I reckon, for me at least, it's the soup pot or the munitions factory in RFA's bright, new world. Those seem to be the choices facing me.
In a more serious conversation, I genuinely believe people will need to form households with others in similar circumstances to survive.
The idea of attempting to live independently, as a disabled person, in RFA's bright, new world is for the birds I'm afraid.

The thing is, the HofLs can't stand in HMG's way over a financial bill.
It goes back to them refusing to pass Lloyd George's 1909 budget. HMG wanted to establish formal dominance over HofLs, and roped George V into threatening to create hundreds of new Liberal peers, resulting in the Conservatives backing down. (Parliament Act 1911).
This budget was dubbed a 'People's Budget' by Lloyd George, intended to eliminate poverty. It controversially included a proposed Land Tax.
Interesting that over a century ago that government sought to lift up the poor people.

I'm sorry to hear you are having so much trouble. Don't know if this helps but stick to your guns with them. I declared an amount from small pensions pot around £300. Heard nothing about it until a year later when they decided I had to pay it back . I challenged this as I had not had money deducted from previous one and had confirmation on my posts from a decision maker it would not affect my benefit. They took money bsck from me but then eventually when people started reading and acting on messages I was told I didn't owe them. They have just refunded me 6 months later . Take screen shots of everything in your journal. I went months without responses and did mention if I hadn't responded to them I'd be sanctioned. Wish you all best.

Can't even save doing bank checks every 6 months they thought of it all did data analysis checks how many disabled how many homes would be free up how much money spent all planned legacy come on uc last and all this happens and assistance dying jab we have to fight back

The job center told me that my LCWRA is yearly review even though I have long term conditions. I guess I lose this money very quickly soon.

I wasn't going to post on Scope again due to some peoples comments when they don't agree with an answer, which is based on truth. The truth is this government are going to put these welfare reforms through parliament using primary legislation, which means it can't be challenged in court. This is why we need to hear right now what charities and other groups have planned before it gets made law, that being at white paper stage. I realise this hasn't been issued yet until green paper consultations have finished in June, but they could at least say we intend to take this to court as it discriminates unfairly and will push many of us into poverty, including 50,000 children.
I think we just need a little bit of hope from activists etc being more vocal instead of just saying how bad these cuts are all the time, WE KNOW HOW BAD THEY ARE!! we've seen the green paper and what's in it, they won't water down any of it, legal procedings need to be started now, if only to delay these changes for months or hopefully years. I'm sure they are planning something but they need ti inform us more about any actions they will be taking, we are all terrified of these cuts, and please stop telling us to email our mp's etc, we've already done that, some more than once!!
