How do people get placed into the no reassessment category?

You can do a request online.
It's better if you can give a date range, and be really specific about what you need.

I have had a read - where is says the list is "not exhaustive" that means there are other situations they will consider for never having to work.
They will make one or two attempts to contact you for more information.
If you do not answer the phone, they will assume you are fit for work on the basis that they don't have enough evidence to declare you unfit.
However, if there is enough medical evidence included with your claim to make a paper based decision, they will not make you come to the Job Centre at all because they don't want to stress you (thoughtful!)
Does that make sense? I wonder if my son's fitted this category. That report makes him look more severe than he is. He can do routine work but not fast.
He is not good at task initiation so if a jug of milk spilled, he'd just watch it spread across the floor. He would get a cloth if he was told to get a cloth but would not think to get one himself. Then he would need to be told to wipe it up.
Literally 10 mins ago he was sitting on the stair trying to take his shoe off whilst holding a large bag of crisps and a cylindrical biscuit pack in his hand. I had to suggest he would manage better if he put his things down (we just came in from the shop with them)
His brain can't think of the sequence to do things fast. But there is loads he CAN do.

Hello @anisty yes thanks so much, I find hard text hard to understand but that makes a lot of sense, thank you. I can be like your son at times as well, too hard to process too many different things at once. I'd need to ask my Doctor I think when I'm near my reassessment if I can have a note and a discussion to see if he would recommend LCWRA. I think I would be capable eventually of doing some small things, but I definitely know I'm limited in certain types of jobs due to ASD, but I will have a chat to him about it, thank you for your help!

Thanks for answering. I don't know if I will ask right now, keeping my head down seems a good idea right now 🫣
