ESA - WCA
Hi! Just wondering how long it normally takes to receive a response from ESA (NS) after sending back the WCA questionnaire.
I know it says up to 13 weeks online. However I am not sure if this from when you have had an assessment or if this is from when you send off the form?
If its from after you've had an assessment, how long normally till after you have sent the form for you hear about the assessment?

You can contact the assessment provider and ask if they can tell you how long the wait for an appointment might be.
ESA won't have anything to do until they receive an assessment report, so can't help you at this stage.

Thanks for replying so soon, I just contacted my local health assessment provider and they unfortunately said there is no time limit and you hear when you hear. Not great news!

Can anyone advise if put into the support group is this payment back dated at all? I can’t see anything online in this regards. Thank you.

For New Style ESA, the Support Group payment is backdated to week 13 of the claim.
