UC is paid one month in arrears.
Each UC payment is based on your circumstances for the previous calender month, known as the Assessment Period.
Your first UC payment is 5 weeks after you claimed, and then monthly afterwards.
The final ESA payment (known as the run on payment) is not deducted.
If any of your ESA is Contributions Based, this will convert into New Style ESA and be deducted each month.
The deduction will look more than you receive but isn't ESA is a weekly benefit and UC is monthly, there are 4.3 weeks in a month.

It was income based not contribution based they gave me two weeks run on so regular fortnightly amount the letter states a further 68 pounds into my account? I went on net contacted my local council sent email telling them I migrated over no other income essentially it's same circumstances different name I got confirmation of that

If all of your ESA is IR then the information I gave about New Style ESA isn't applicable.
The run on payment is not deducted from UC.
If you are accidently paid too much ESA (it happens) then that would be deducted.

Mystery solved I set migration off calling on 17th the letter says paid me IR ESA 17 Till a few a few days ago the 30th so looks like making sure each months UC is a month. If any other payment made its 68 quid which is better than hundreds but looks OK. Now worry is how much I get on 23 April then each month
