So grateful our gardener has come back from his winter trip to Morocco. The cirnus shrubs are so high and will need a real heavy prune. Last year i was not well enough to do much gardening and so far this year is starting the same but with a different illness!

Remember, the old farmers always advised not to plant until you could sit bare bottomed on the spil!

ah we dont have grass back garden is all plants front garden is a few pots and a mostly moss lawn with a bit of grass in it there are 3 rather large trees that when leafed up keep the front in shade all summer the mess he makes is a small price for the enjoyment we get from watching him

Unfortunately there's a lot of announced posts currently, so we're unable to sticky this one just yet, sorry @michael57 but the two discussions have at least been merged now. 😊

Those dahlias are gorgeous @michael57, I'm very jealous! What did they send you by accident, are you still going to plant it?

I've just planted some green beans and sugar snap peas which I've fortified with copper slug tape in an attempt to overcome last year's pest problems. Think I only got about 3 pods last year thanks to the dog and the slugs combined 😂

I've also got some zinnias and courgettes on the go but they're still only tiny at the moment.
