Sorry to hear you’re going through this, @Catherine21. The benefits system never gives us a break, does it? If they weren’t constantly on our backs, I think a lot of our mental health struggles would be a bit easier to manage.

I can totally relate to that feeling when those brown envelopes land on the doormat. I really hope the housing benefits check email you received is just a routine check and doesn’t cause any more distress.

@Ranald you never see that repeated anymore, like they run repeats of rising damp/porridge etc.

@Ranald oh I've not noticed that on, do you remember the two main actors did the song 'Whispering Grass'? Sorry, you're probably too young to remember that (im 62) 😅 but I can only get around 6 channels on my tv in bedroom need to get a proper aerial connected 🙄.

Oh I do get that channel must be looking at the wrong time!

It wasn't my favourite when younger but I'll give it a go, anythings got to be better than the news.
