Been going good so far, had my first chemo treatment for my breast cancer this morning and I went to sleep after I got. Resting and taking it easy. Plus had a friend of mine come over whom is a juvenile probation officer and had a 15 year old young man with him to have a talk with me. On probation for a breaking and entering. I told him he better stop what he is doing, hanging around the bad crowd and doing the crimes. Told him I was like him hanging around the wrong crowd when I was his age and got the wake up call when
I turned 18. Told him those people he is hanging around are not good friends heading him in the wrong direction in life. This friend of mine agreed with me on that and told him I was right. Told him what changed my life around when I was 18, enlisted in the United States Marine Corps which helped me put me in the right direction in life

I've had 2 really good days so thought I'd try and to a little house work not so much just folding some clothes and putting them awat 1 item at a time and today feel like I've gone back to Friday when I was on medication that only lasted 2hrs

    @Albus_Scope @Santosha12 @Catherine21 @Sandy_123

Thanks so much for all your kind and lovely messages! I’ve just got back from a super busy A&E after 10 hours. Thankfully, it’s not a fracture-just as we thought, probably a muscle or tendon rupture. They’ve popped my arm in a sling and said it might take around 6 weeks to heal.
It’s not too painful when I’m resting, but moving it really hurts. Fingers crossed for a smooth recovery from here. Sending best wishes to you all! 🤗

Sorry about your air pods you can buy really cheap ones on temu if you don't mind waiting 2 weeks 🤣 I've bought loads myself all working great and all of them combined cost less than twenty pounds.

Probably by yourself a pair of shorts too but knowing our lovely British weather it'll probably hammer down when arrive.

I bought my mum 3 different hearing aids and she doesn't ware any of then, sure she just likes it when I shout at her😂, me not so much 🤔.

I can understand not recognising yourself myself I feel like who is this humongous person looking back at me, I look at photos from 15 years ago and think how was I ever that thin even though was a size 14 back then only looked a 10 🤣.

Chin up read a book, listen to some enlighten music or watch a funny film tge ones with Adam Sandler in usually cracks me up 🤣

    P. S not sure if I'm doing this right as new on here not sure how to tag.

    Also grumpy1314

Must be hard thinking you might have lost your hearing, do you do any gardening yourself now for yourself? Sometimes it's nice getting out on sunny day can cheer you up.

I was on antidepressants years ago but didn't like the way they made me feel, like I didn't care about anything or anyone now that was fine when it came down to my partner at that time but when I felt the same way when my son hurt himself knew I had to come off them

Good news about outside for you some sun cheer you up sometimes. We sound very similar I've only had 2 long term relationships devorced once, chucked my ex fiancée out around 9 years ago so much happier now he was head work, to controlling ect, he's got his karma now though he's had loads of stokes and doesn't remember half the **** he put me though was even overjoyed he remembered my mother's name 😂 they didn't get on, strange thing was his mother went for me on holiday not long after I first got with him within I'd say 4 months of that she fell down the stairs cracked her head on a glass table (silly place to put that if you ask me) and had a stroke she's wheel chair bound now.

I work Mondays every week, but this week was the start of my new slightly earlier start and finish so it was the stupid-early bus and I was definitely yawning when I arrived :)
But I got to finish at 4.15 and I managed to get the bus so I was home earlier than usual :) The cherry blossom in town is beautiful, can't complain about that…

I am lucky that I have such a nice team to work in :) Our new(ish) manager brought us cake.

    Well grumpy1314

I'm off to bed gotta get my son up for school in a little over 6hrs, it was a pleasure talking to you, you really brightened up my evening, sometimes it's nice to talk sometimes about meaningless things like music and books films ect just to get you out of feeling down because of the day, week, months or even years we've had it rough. I hope brightend up your evening also goodnight chat soon 🙂

Why risk your body for King Donald? The lad could learn to be a productive member of society, by volunteering to serve in the Peace Corps.

It hasn't done Senator John Fetterman any harm.
