Been going good so far, had my first chemo treatment for my breast cancer this morning and I went to sleep after I got. Resting and taking it easy. Plus had a friend of mine come over whom is a juvenile probation officer and had a 15 year old young man with him to have a talk with me. On probation for a breaking and entering. I told him he better stop what he is doing, hanging around the bad crowd and doing the crimes. Told him I was like him hanging around the wrong crowd when I was his age and got the wake up call when
I turned 18. Told him those people he is hanging around are not good friends heading him in the wrong direction in life. This friend of mine agreed with me on that and told him I was right. Told him what changed my life around when I was 18, enlisted in the United States Marine Corps which helped me put me in the right direction in life0 -
Evening anyone awake?

Evening Robin,
I’m a night owl until the meds decide they want to knock me out 🥊 but just depends on if so take my antidepressants at times, sometimes if I’m in a dark place I’ll just self destruct for the night and stay awake through to the next afternoon.

Evening All,
Quite a productive day, not sure I’ve watched tv a lot. Maybe a few videos on You Tube later on. Rang the Mental Health Team to explain I still want there help after receiving a letter saying they had tried to contact me 🤦♂️ typical normal situation, left a voice mail and nobody has rang me back. Rang Social Services (old skool! Don’t call it Adult Social Care) to get a referral to the OT about having an intercom fitted in my flat, I’ve got to have my entire staircase ripped out and rebuilt alongside the stairlift having to come out, carpets in hallway and stairs then has to go down and then stairlift back in! Absolute nightmare, they built them out of MDF, talk about cutting corners! Rang the registry office to order a copy of my marriage certificate, so as to apply for funding to pay for a no cost divorce, just want the final bolt locked on the past. Listened to some music, bit of Jimi Hendrix, greatest of all guitarist, above Page, Clapton, Beck, Gilmour. While on the phone to Social Services, I asked if my GP had referred me to them like I’ve been asking, nope you need a CPN! Cue best muttley impression as I said Mental Health Team won’t give me one! Been begging for the last five years. Spoke to Tui about taking a glass bottle of medication onboard the aircraft, they said it’s ok as long as I’ve got prescriptions for it all, which is relief to say the least. Then I started looking at decorating supplies for my flat, but then I’ve had to have a word with myself to not be an idiot and not risk it due to my health. Been a fool again, I’ve got a fridge and freezer full of food, had a McDonald’s Breakfast and a meal deal & easter egg from sainsburys like a complete fool! I know for certain if I was to lay down, my devil stomach would decide it wants to attack my throat again! So it may now be an all nighter, gone from being relaxed, to just like a click of Thanos’s fingers my moods crashed 🤬🧠 My brain is now uttering my late Grandfather’s phone answering “War Office Who Wants A Fight”

I've had 2 really good days so thought I'd try and to a little house work not so much just folding some clothes and putting them awat 1 item at a time and today feel like I've gone back to Friday when I was on medication that only lasted 2hrs

My Brain has clicked into self destruct, my inner chimp Hadrian has come out for a fight with my mental health. At least my left hip isn’t requiring any Ibuprofen Gel tonight, yet. Think I’m going to put the radio on low, do some Gaelic lessons, play on the computer and watch some Good Dr. Then nip into town tomorrow morning, to get a hidden industrial piercing sorted out, tried a chain moth attachment instead of a solid bar and nah, not working so it’s gonna be a normal titanium bar instead.

Thanks so much for all your kind and lovely messages! I’ve just got back from a super busy A&E after 10 hours. Thankfully, it’s not a fracture-just as we thought, probably a muscle or tendon rupture. They’ve popped my arm in a sling and said it might take around 6 weeks to heal.
It’s not too painful when I’m resting, but moving it really hurts. Fingers crossed for a smooth recovery from here. Sending best wishes to you all! 🤗1 -

Mental Health is a nightmare, it’s like being on an endless rollercoaster! I walk in the bathroom some days, look in the mirror and don’t recognise the person staring back at me 😔 I’ve just been looking in some suitcases for some shorts for if it’s hot tomorrow, couldn’t find the ones I was after which is a nightmare! Then I’ve just been trying to get my right AirPod to seal and none of the tips are playing ball, the left is ok. Wanting to try out the hearing test function to see if I’ve lost any hearing over the years since working as a gardener/estate ranger with loud machines.

I love reading, sadly thanks to my mental health that has tailed off over the last four and a half years 😔 Once my living room is decorated, I’m going to get some decent bookcases set up for my modest collection.
