I'm moving from a shared house to a 1 bed flat. I'm on uc lcwra and pip middle. My previous rent was £800 now it's going to be £1500(£997 lhr).
Do I call uc or message them?
When should I tell them I'm moving, when I get the keys or now?
I also need a discretionary payment towards first month's rent and deposit. Any info would be appreciated thanks.

Do you already get the one bedroom rate of LHA?
You should be entitled due to your PIP.
Once you've moved in you can log into your UC Journal, and report the change in your rent amount and your new address.

Hi @yard just wanted to pop and say welcome to the community ☺️
I can see you've had some great advice from members, so I won't add anything more for now. Hope all goes well with the move.
