How is your day going?

sadly I’m here to have to say goodbye, 👋 I’ve nodded off this morning sat up and then woke up having a panic attack. 🥹 I’ve finally managed to speak to a very kind nurse at the mental health team and they are going to do an assessment of my mental health over the last two weeks. I think by me starting to look into a divorce yesterday, that allied to me burying my head in the sand and not asking for help over recent months, alongside all the stress the government has put on us about our benefits has just like normal just crashed into me like a brick wall 😢 it’s something I’ve done for years just ignore the warning signs and triggers, over eating, ordering to many take aways, eating stuff I know will trigger my stomach condition, I’ve steadfast refused to call the crisis lines or the mental health team and just feel broken again. Possibly me looking into the divorce has just triggered the trauma again from the memories of how my marriage has ended. I just feel like a Raven that has had its wings clipped and I’ve slid into the sea of darkness with no sign of light, only a storm ravaged sea and I just can’t use my internal compass to get me out of there. I’ve done the safest thing possible which is to take my dinner and tea time meds (which I’m able to do so) I’m now going to retake a couple of diazepam to help calm me down and sit up and watch a bit of tv on the tablet until I fall asleep. At least I have made sure my nails are kept short to stop me from scratching the back of my hands and arms as a way of self harm ☹️. I thank you all for your kind words and it was lovely talking to you all last night and yesterday and today. Hopefully old Grumpy here will be back soon. Take Care everyone 💚

Thank you for your kind words, I’m my own harshest critic all the time, always questioning every minute decision that I make. I think what doesn’t help is my upbringing where so was always scolded, treated differently to my sister, told I can’t do this or can’t do that because of the conditions I had and the two marriages I’ve been through to say the least. But by living on my own for the last 7 months for the first time in 41 years, is by far my biggest challenge, the flat feels like a cell, the noise is deafening beyond belief, I’m missing having an animal around that’s for sure, once my flats decorated I’m going to be saving to adopt a young Labrador to train up to be my assistance dog with suitable socialisation and suitable support and help. I’ve even considered applying for the Dog House on Channel Four which may be a good way to find a suitable dog and also tips, help and advice. It makes me mad when some companies want upwards of £20,000 for a fully trained dog, how can normal people to be able to afford that sort of fee.

sounds like he was an utter tool, I must admit I thought my first ex wife had done more damage. But my second wife absolutely ripped out my heart and stamped all over it. She owes me over £2,000 but I’m just letting go for the sake of my health. I just miss the cuddles with my boy, he weighed 30KG, he was an unusual cross breed, Staffy x Whippet. I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better dog to rescue when someone didn’t want him on Facebook. He ran like a Whippet, but pulled like a Staffie on the lead. But he was gentle, kind, massive heart and always would check on me with my mental health. We called him Ozzy The Prince of Barkless as he never barked.
sadly for him he has to live with my ex and her new fella. But I’ll put a collage of his photos on the wall, to remind me of how an animal can read your mind and sole.

I'm feeling off balance , anxiety over the pip re-assessment form on its way , been looking at touring caravans to live in just in case my pip is taken off me and i lose all benefits apart from basic UC.
Looking at generators so i can use my cpap while i sleep if we need to hand keys back to mortgage and live in a caravan . We wouldn't be able to keep up mortgage payments if i lose all benefits .
Feeling trapped .
