Lasting Power of Attorney & UC

Hi,

Can anyone advise me please?

I wasn't sure where to post this,so I posted it elsewhere on the forum at first.

My parents are planning for the future & they want me to have Power of Attorney over their finances . This would mean that my details would be registered with their bank & I would have a card with representative on it. Would this effect my UC & any future reviews if we went ahead with this?

Thankyou

Thankyou MW123 for your advice, it's much appreciated.

I wouldn't be handling my parents finances yet,as they are fully mentally competent, it would be more the fact that I was registered to step in when the time came.

Thank you from me too. I have a power of attorney for my mum in place (but not needed or registered yet).
