DWP bank check.

hey y’all. I am on UC/pip also been accepted for LCWRA. They know and understand what conditions I have, recently today I have been investigated to show 4 months of bank statements worth. Looked online apparently this means they suspect me doing fraud?
why bully someone on a disability like this? They haven’t asked my mum to do this either, only me.
I am scared/nervous they may suspect me or ask what I spend my money on.
I find it very rude, that someone who is on PIP and stays at home almost everyday due to disability is being investigated for fraud? When they don’t do it to those, who could actually be doing it for fraud?
I have been scared and very anxious.
Most of the time, my money is spent on things I like to make my room better from Amazon.sometimes go out of my way, and buy myself some games due to not going outside a lot. And my BILLS.
maybe order a takeaway here and then.
I am really scared they’re either bullying me, or trying to get me to quit.
they know what I am going through I have sent countless of paragraphs what support I’ve been getting. So why would they suspect me of fraud? Honestly I find it very rude and disrespectful.

As someone who’s just moved over. I was worried too but nothing to worry about. From what i seen it seems to be checking for any other bank accounts etc and if you’re over £6000.

so I have a Monzo account and it shows this I sent them everything I had too do.
this is from moving money from my savings pot into main pot to buy something from the shop etc. this is over the course of what they asked for. And I am on PIP btw. Would they see this as fraud or not?0 -
They might ask for savings account and nothing to worry about. They’ll deduct payments. Think it’s something like £4.50ish every £250 after £6000.

UC are checking millions of claims, selected at random. They don't suspect you of fraud. You are required to submit statements for all of your accounts, not just the one your UC is paid into.

thanks, I got really scared.
I understand why they’re doing tho, it’s to crack down on those bums and people who lie etc.For me on the other hand, I’ve been getting support and slowly trying to make myself better. So I hope they do understand that.

I’ve posted a lot on here worrying about it and doesn’t seem to be that bad after all.
