Selling Secondhand Mobility Aids?

Can anyone kindly tell me where I can sell secondhand mobility aids (like wheelchairs etc)??

I have tried on Facebook but keep getting it removed as against rules to sell or gift mobility aids apparently.

Not sure where else there is? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

To at least some degree it depends on the type of mobility aids.

The four used wheelchairs I have were made bespoke for me, it's incredibly unlikely I'd be able to find someone else they were suitable for. They're no longer suitable for me.

Each cost £2,000-3,000 and they're in good condition.

I've seen a few places/charities trying to set up selling used wheelchairs but they haven't ever worked well enough to be sustainable.

It's not as easy as it sounds, no matter how useful it may seem.

    Good luck

    Luke

@Cats1817 What about eBay? It's free to sell on there. You can choose Collection only or you can post.

    Hi Cats1817,

There are companies out there that sell reconditioned mobility aids and buy them too. Here's a link to one, it may not be near to you but if you call , they may get able to advise you of one near you.
