Especially Those working on climate change, and diversity projects - now where have I heard that before ?
Oh yes Trump - we have our own Trump now …….

I know when I've worked it has never given me dignity, and most jobs would just make me feel worse about myself.

Me too @Ross1975 . Being openly resented for any adjustments made for me, the subsequent isolation, and indirect harassment/bullying was the epitome of dignity. I tolerated it for 40+ years until I finally became too broken to fix.
This is why I keep banging on about it being all fine and well for millions of employers 🙄 lining up to welcome us to the workplace, but fellow employees were always the source of my misery/ lack of dignity.

We are heading into spiritually dark times. An appeal to right wing simple solutions is always and inevitably a slow but steady slide into the abyss. There's no democracy anymore, politics and politicians are bought and paid for and the economic system is basically stealing money off the rest of us to give to the already wealthy. This is backed by all in the establishment. They don't care if this results in increased poverty, homelessness, stagnant wages, raised prices, divisions, the rise of disease linked to poverty and malnutrition, a MSM that is basically right wing propaganda and a rise in deaths due to this second coming round of austerity. A 3rd of a million died from around 2010 to 2020. No media outcry, no church leaders saying anything, no concern from royals or politicians. All is well it seems. Peace where there is no peace.
Make no mistake, these are evil times. The love of money has brought us to this place. And it won't stop with the poorest and disabled either. It never does. We need concerted action against all of it. Every decent person should stand against such evil. How many people have to suffer and die after all?

Surly MAGA is the only way , UK should do the same . As for putting oneself first , you should do the same . This world owes you and I nothing , so looking after number 1 is the first priority , nobody no matter how bold and gallant they proclaim to be will ever put you or I first before themselves .

If we had a leader like Trump the country would be great , instead we have a globalist , but I heard that starmer will toe the line now after his meeting with Trump, just like the other little creep who was here at a meeting with starmer last month and left with a cheque to the tune of 2.4 billion .
I think people will be eating humble pie once they learn the truth about everything that has been going on for decades .
The world is changing and for the better . People just don't see it they are too busy looking over there to see what is really going on .

I really think it's time to put a stop to some of the comments here. When someone has a quote from scripture as their signature you'd hope & believe, whether you believed in God or not, that surely this person must be kind-hearted.
Misusing quotes from the Bible to prop up what they believe I find most abhorrent. Also believing in conspiracy theories such as 'chemtrails' now needs to be debunked:
I can take so much with people thinking they have some sort of right to publicly share their opinion, but, especially on a forum for disabled people I think it's time this was stopped.

I (sadly) agree with you @Timbo_Guitar. I can recall the Archbishop of Canterbury, Justin Welby, speaking out against austerity/Cameron's policies and subsequently, post Covid. I don't think that vacancy has been filled unless I've somehow missed the news and find the silence from the Church, quite frankly, deafening. Think I'll just write to the Supreme Governor, King Charles on Monday, when I send my consultation response to the Green Paper.

Trump and his little puppet Farage are dangerous. Look at Trumps first turn in office, he used people and quickly turned on them. Now he is pretending he could be the pope. He is a dangerous lunatic like Farage. The world would be much better off with out them. You only have to look at history to see what happens when unhinged leaders have power.

@Timbo_Guitar sorry, couldn't seem to save my additional comments, I know some spoke out against the proposed cuts, Canon Alice Kemp in particular and the Archbishop of York and Bishop of Leicester and ? Blackburn comes to mind. I just think there's a moral imperative for them to do a lot more.
