Just an opinion, I could be wrong but I think that we have heard nothing more about those harsher proposals because it may be its all they are, a threat.
One to demoralise us even futher, hoping that we will just give up, roll over and accept all these proposals they want to destroy us with.
Considering how well the current round of cuts is going with so many others in the Labour government, ourselves, our DPOs and many of the general public I would say (sarcastically) good luck with that one!! 😁

The Disability News Service (DNS) is part of Disabled People Against Cuts. (DPAC) I've been a member for quite a long time now and I assure you that as a Disabled People's Organisation (DPO) they are 100% reputable and completely on our side. ✊

I'm so sorry to hear that you are in this situation. It is so wrong and completely unacceptable. As soon as next year too! I sincerely hope that something drastic will happen to water down these proposals or see the back of them altogether before they start taking innocent people with it. 😡
As we've discussed before, we both have ME/CFS. I can really relate to what you have to go through and how difficult it will be to cope with that situation on top of your disabilities. 😞
I will be state pension age by the time of my next review and have two four point descriptors in daily living but don't entirely feel off the hook as the DWP could decide to review me sooner at working age and make sure they don't give me the 4 pointers back.
I'm very grateful that I'm safer than most but I don't think that you can be completely safe at working age unfortunately. 😒

Or not openly coming out about not voting for it as a way to leave Starmer and his cronies thinking everything is going ok then BANG when it comes to voting on it and in that way leaving Labour looking incompetent (which they already are)

What makes it harder to get a 4 points , apart from the assessor who down graded me , is the fact that there are no questions asking about pain or fatigue.
What makes things worse is I look fine when I do manage to go out but suffer for it afterwards but no one sees the PEM

It’s certainly being kept quiet and I pray it’s true .

Yup.
We have to keep fighting.
It's not over yet, it seems the tide is turning.
Let's hope so.

They're 'Brickin it' after the 'thrashing' from reform in the local elections.
Don't get me wrong, i'm no fan of reform, but this has really helped us in a way, because the Labour MP's now know that if they keep going the way they have been, their 'gravy train' is about to 'crash', no more job, no more daily allowance after next election....
And the way things are atm in this country ,all the anger over benefits, winter fuel, 2 child cap , free clothes, free concert tickets for the weasels....etc etc......…
An election may be sooner than they'd like, because this country is 'hanging by a thread.

Reform are doing us a massive favour even if they don’t like the disabled themselves. I think this is a reason the Tory’s are apparently voting against if true . Millions of disabled votes going to waste , we have to vote for someone and I think Tory’s hope it’s them
