I mean, how - HOW - can they do what they're proposing to do to chronically ill and disabled people in the economic climate they have worsened since coming to power?

But how if it’s not been voted on and not gone to the house or lords ?

The PIP cuts are mainly going to hit the over 50s, especially 50 - 59 year olds, with physical health conditions. 😮

Because they see life from a totally different standpoint to us.
It's because they operate from a narcissistic mind, which has no empathy. They only see other people as units, to be manipulated for their own ends.
They are only capable of thinking about what they can grab for themselves in the way of power and privileges, they do not have a worldview where the needs of others even register.
Something that's very difficult for moral people who consider the needs of others to understand, unfortunately. 😔
It also shows that these cuts continue to only be about saving money, not about any disabled person, even if they were capable, actually moving into work. 😳

How are you? 😊 I haven't seen you on here for a while.
You're right about keep fighting. Look at what we have achieved already in helping to turn that tide in our favour.
I believe that we can achieve so much more if we just simply keep going, it doesn't matter what they try to throw at us. We have the support our DPOs, family, friends, carers, MPs and the majority of public opinion on our side.
Most difficult things in life are defeated by sheer persistence, by just having the strength to keep going. There is always hope, it's just a matter of believing it's there whatever the nay sayers, might try to get you to believe. 🤗

I'm not usually into shaudenfraude, but i would love to see Liz Kendall lose her job with the DWP, especally as it's a job she's waited for the last 14 years.

I think the Conservatives will vote for cuts.

If the government uses secondary legislation (regulations) to change PIP rules without a full Act, those can sometimes be challenged more easily — for example, in court if they're considered ultra vires (beyond legal power).

That’s what I thought but I saw Ben claimant who has a YouTube channel with Ellen Clifford videos on it said he spoke to Tory minister and they’re voting against. Maybe they’ve realised it’s a vote winner to go against the cuts . They won’t win the vote on anything else as Tory’s now 3rd

That’s what I thought He still hasn’t gone to the vote in parliament or lords.

Hi everyone
I haven't been here much lately but just wanted to let you know I have sent my pip reassessment form in the post today.
My award doesn't expire until Sept' 2026 and they gave me less than 3 weeks to complete it and get in sent to them.
I don't trust them so I posted it by next day special delivery and it cost me over £13 quid.
Its done now and I'm off for a four night stay cation here in Cornwall later today.
The weather forecast is looking good this week so hopefully I will have a good time.
Take care all.
