Confused.com

Hi.
Just had an interview at the Job Centre for migration from ESA to UC.
Lady very helpful but I am feeling confused as she said that payments would be deducted??
All I know at the moment are my payment dates starting in June; 8th and 22nd.
I assume I will be getting the standard amount of UC topped up with the LCWRA amount. Even with this it will still leave me short. Is this where the Transitional Payments come in?
Any clarity would be appreciated.
Helen

Transitional Protection is added if your total UC award (before deductions) is lower than legacy benefits at the time of transfer.
Did she say ESA payments will be deducted?
If so you might want to read through this thread:
The amounts are out of date, New Style ESA is £281.10 a fortnight with the deduction from UC being £609.05.
