The fact there was a vote and Starmers waited all this time to slowly get us back in shows what a dictator he is regardless as to whether we agree to brexit or not .

Oh I’ll try that 🙏

just watch the justice journals on YouTube. I know it’s a bit of a controversial channel but today’s video is good. She explains some of the 4 Point descriptors and how you could get them in the sense that the assessors try to steer you to the 2 points instead. They’ve done this to me so I found this video interesting.

She don't reply I've emailed her never got anything back

None of them reply but they know the strength of feeling by the amount of emails.

Next time we need to record and make ourselves aware of the 4 point descriptors so they can’t steer us away from them . The video today was helpful, I know she’s a bit too much but was informative.

I’ll email her too in the next few days . Remind her that over a million disabled votes are going free to any party that supports us

He’s found a way around it . I’m sure it won’t be full membership so he can . But I doubt we got a good deal as he’s useless. I couldn’t work out why he’s PM as he’s useless, isn’t good at it and seems to hate us all . Makes me wonder if it was just to get us back to the EU . Just my opinion obviously

There's not just the fact that there are so many in one party voting for or another party voting against the cuts.
The fact that so many of the Labour government are not going to vote for the cuts will be a huge blow for the PLP unity which is very likely to work very much in our favour. 🤞😊

I received this email from DPAC today.
The Labour MPs campaigning for disability benefit cutsposted by Ben Gollightly in Politics, Action, Disability Activism
We have seen a letter to Liz Kendall signed by 36 loyalist Labour MPs who have formed a group to support the disability benefit cuts.
While the prospect of a cushy junior ministerial role, or the threat of the whips, might persuade many Labour MPs to vote in favour, this list represents some of the worst MPs, who are actively campaigning for the changes.
They should be lobbied and protested. They should not receive a penny of trade union support. They should be challenged at elections. CLPs must pass no confidence votes and trigger reselection ballots.
The list is:
David Pinto-Duschinsky MP
Luke Akehurst MP
Bayo Alaba MP
Jas Athwal MP
Danny Beales MP
Rachel Blake MP
Nesil Caliskan MP
Luke Charters MP
Shaun Davies MP
Jim Dickson MP

A list of shame.

Should be ashamed of themselves. I hope this is on X and TikTok. They need naming and shaming

One thing they'll not be is ashamed.

That’s so true . But they will regret their vote if they get pushed off the gravy train

I am of the opinion that they will not dismiss us that easily. I too would have thought like that until recently.
The Labour leadership have done something so deadly serious with proposing these truly sadistic cuts with such prospectivly catastrophic outcomes that no one will be able to sweep our concerns under the carpet.
After being ignored under the Tories for so many years, we are used to just being dismissed but however bad they were they came nowhere near to the complete destruction to our lives that Labour plan for us.
The fact that the Labour party have done this to us is very significant to Parliament and to the public too, however right wing the leadership like to be. I don't think our plight is going away, by any means. 😊

I hope everyone of them gets shown the door at the next GE.

I've just read that it's in about a month's time but they didn't give a date unfortunately.

Hope you’re right jul , have you heard any updates as to how many voting against and how many abstaining ? I’ve heard 100 abstaining and 70 against. Obviously abstaining isn’t good enough and they should lose people’s votes but surely that means starmer has less MPs on his side and voting for him ?

https://forum.scope.org.uk/discussion/comment/1029629#Comment_1029629To be honest, there are so many different figures being bandied about that I would be hard pressed myself.
I've just heard though that three quarters of the Labour government majority in MPs that they got at the General Election are are objecting to the cuts in one way or the other. That's got to be good.
If you haven't read this article from ITV News from 3 days ago this is at least the most encouraging news of them all. Please watch the video too as it's even better than the article. 😊 Sorry about the awkward link but it does work.
